Josh Plante (b. 2003 in Kitchener, Ontario) is an interactive media arts designer emerging from OCAD University in Toronto, Canada. Inspired by a lifetime of games and play, Plante transforms his unique perspective on systems of interaction into works that explore how movement, sound, and technology can be used to evoke emotion, expression, and learning!
Through installation, videogames, and 3D animation, Plante invites audiences to step into his carefully crafted experences, as ways of encouraging creativity, reflection, and exploration. Looking forward, Plante plans to further develop his artistic practice by diving into larger installation works, creating new games, and gaining valuable industry experience in the creative media field.
